Hi! It’s so nice to see you here! I'm Christine; I created this little space - Sweet Friend Handmade in early April 2020. This is a place for me to share my creations & creative journey with you.

I have always been "crafty" & interested in creating, but never really put myself out there or focused on this avenue. Then COVID came… I was worried & scared of the unknown. Creating, learning new things, & sewing became my outlet & took my mind off of the negative.

 

I originally started Sweet Friend Handmade to post pictures of the things I was creating, & people seemed genuinely interested & liked what I was making. It brought a glimpse of happiness & positivity to a dark time. I had also gained confidence in my craft & this was the beginning of my adventure.

 

I really want to inspire & show others what they can do if they just try. I had ZERO sewing skills before 2020 & here I am making & creating all sorts of different things.

I am going to continue to focus on learning & trying new, fun & creative handmade & homemade things & sharing them with you on this page. You'll be able to find my short, easy tutorials that I hope that you will try too!

I am super excited & so proud of myself for taking a chance. Let's see where this can go!
