RUFFLED-HEART VALENTINES

Show your affection with every pleat of these hearts.

I made these by using an array of decorative craft paper/scrapbook paper sheets. But, you could use any paper you have on hand. Vellum, crepe paper, construction paper or pages from a drawing pad. You can even add a few strokes and splatters of paint, or colour your own design.

I found a 24-sheet pack of super cute craft paper designs at Dollarama, but I have also seen similar packs on Amazon. See link below. They offer a number of different colours & styles. See link below.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Cut out template and trace it on paper, then cut out.

Fold paper accordion-style, creasing every ⅜ inch or so.

Fold creased paper in half to form tip of heart.

Fan out to create heart’s rounded top, then secure edges of paper at center of crease with clear tape.
